I'm sorry my "mind" doesn't compare to your wonderful, insightful and informed intelligence. The way I come across to you probably has something to do with the fact that I'm very much a social (and in certain areas political) liberal. I'm pro-choice, I'm pro gay marriage, I'm all for public funding of the arts (when the receiving arts organizations are actually advancing professionally and can show some evidence of their artistic progress), I'm all for the legalization of marijuana (although I don't use the stuff in the least), I have problems with the way Bush handled the "war on terror," I actively embrace other cultures (and find certain merits in other governments policies) and all in all, I consider myself a citizen of the world. I can manage to get along in three languages, I have been married to a Hispanic (15 years) and a African-American women... I have numerous friends living in European countries (one is even a tried-and-true communist).. in short, in most social circles I come across as a liberal. But I don't like the immature and ill-equipped idiot sitting in the White House. I didn't like the last immature and ill-equipped idiot sitting in the White House.
