I will let people draw their own conclusions in regards to statements that are made here that attempt to draw negative light to one's livelihood here.
I think most of the members here are smart enough to see people and statements for exactly what they are.
That's the question Becky, I haven't personally seen anyone here threaten your livelihood, and I've been on here from the very beginning. If I missed this, I'm sorry, but it's hard to sympathize with your issues if you don't answer what seemed to me to be legitimate questions. And yes, we all pay for your sniping and using the victim card, which I have seen you use more than once, if we don't know anything about the victimization. Cryptic statements like "draw your own conclusions" don't help much if we don't know what to draw a conclusion about.

I'm thinking you have no intention of answering any questions, better to be the mysterious victim. I haven't seen any "similar" postings by members of my party of choice, whatever the hell that means.....they usually will tell you up front why they are attacking you....
I have tried to be as civil as possible with you, having been warned that to cross Becky on a message board is to make a life long enemy....I think I will do the practical thing here and cease this discussion and avoid all future discussions with you.

For the record, Becky, I'm not "outraged" by anything you post, nor am I "attacking" you. I'm pointing out - mildly - that you are taking the silly stuff way too seriously, which might be understandable if you weren't putting silly stuff out there yourself.
Annie....I don't mind the disagreements with Romney policy or even the well crafted jokes. heck...I share some of those disagreements.
It is the constant degradation, disrespectful, hateful personal attack BS on ANYONE (not just me)that 3 or 4 of the folks use to attempt to win an argument when they see something posted that they disagree with that has gone on for so long here that bothers me.
I can assure you that I have it on good authority that more people than will admit use the ignore feature and only respond when something is quoted. Far to many have just left this site.
I'm no victim by any means. Those who actually know me know that.
I am just sick of the carefully crafted remarks designed to stop an argument by using subjects that should be off base to decent people.
For the most part....i think most people here are decent and they see these behaviors for exactly what they are. My phone rings off the wall after this individual attempts to silence my opinion with veiled references to my business and my opinion and the "potential" harm that might come to my business because of my posted opinions here.

You and I are a great example of 2 individuals who disagree at a very high level on politics yet we know each other. We have stood face to face with each other and we have found common ground to build a friendship. I care about you so I am going to think before I post a disagreement with you so as to not truly harm that common bond we have created. It is called being "neighborly" or a friend. It is something that is seriously lacking on this forum.
I don't really know the reasons but I suspect it is the anonymity factor here as well as other forums in which people do not use their real identity to post their views. My FB wall has seen far worse images such as the one you posted here. I do not repost them out of respect for my friends such as you and many others that I value. They are offensive and do nothing to create real dialogue.
To whine.....my customers, friends and neighbors know who I am. They respect me for what I stand for. I am a fair, honest and decent human being but where you are concerned....the line has just been crossed far to many times to go back. Honesty, integrity and respect....no matter what side of the political fence you sit on, are must have qualities in an individual in order for most of us to associate ourselves with an individual. A few of you here have lost all of those qualities.....IMO.
As for the silly stuff I did post....Like I said, I was merely trying to make a point. It is annoying to wade through a ton of BS to get to something that might be really important. It is a dis-service to the entire forum. You can try to say this so many times without success but in the end.....some people only understand when they are bombarded by a similar behavior. (sort of like children)
For a few here....that doesn't even work because they are so deeply entrenched in themselves that they cannot see the other people around them.
Yes....it was wrong to inundate the courthouse with so many threads. (Even though a couple weren't so stupid) LOL. I admit that it did not work in the way I had hoped. But...unfortunately.....nothing is going to work with these 3 or 4 individuals so new choices have to be entertained.

True enough but I would hope our friendship can survive political disagreements! I have no problem at all with you posting disagreements with me because i can compartmentalize pretty well. If we can't do that, then posting in a political forum is going to cause us pain now and then.
As for fb, what the hey? My best friend from high school is a rabid right-winger who absolutely does not post political stuff there and, last week, she threatened to subject me to Bill O'Reilly if I didn't quit subjecting her to Jon Stewart. I'd love to accomodate her but the sad truth is that I sometimes like to throw political stuff up there, as do most of my friends - liberals, conservatives and libertarians - so she's SOL and Bill O'Reilly isn't going to bother me. I'll tell you what I told her - let's just try not to go to the mattresses over this stuff. Deal?
