Maybe the military is less political, or tries not to be outwardly political. One of my friends in the reserves posted an anti-Obama post on his Facebook and I told him it would be a good idea for him to delete that now.
Fact is.....they are not allowed to be political......specifically the Marines.
Their duty is to support their commander and chief....no matter who he may be.
I personally know many many Soldiers, Airman, Navy and Marines that left the service based on their convictions and lack of support for this current President.
