CIA Director David Petraeus is resigning because of affair

The Musical, "you say Bush, I say Clinton" You say Iraq, I say sexual dalliances at the highest level in the land, a real role model for husbands and fathers everywhere. And a decades long tradition of Democrat Presidents who are sexual predators. Or maybe we should just call them 'rat Presidents since they dishonored and embarrassed their wives and children.

The timing is interesting. Isn't the General supposed to go in front of Congress to discuss the whole Benghazi F*** Up next week?

He will also not be testifying at the upcoming hearing.

He was and still is a patriot,we all have personal failings. Nobody is perfect, but he was a great General.

So how many resign because of an affair? Really? Or is this so that he doesn't testify at the hearing?

Maybe he is just tired of providing covering fire for Team Obama. Wants to wash his hands of this administration.

Apparently you're not aware, the CIA has VERY STRICT rules about employees having affairs. They make it easy to blackmail or manipulate an employee by those who wish to do harm to the U.S.

I am not allowed to be skeptical of his not testifying in what may be one of the most serious mis-steps in this administrations history to date.

If the affair was only yesterday, then I could see the resignation. But it has been awhile so how come a resignation now? So close to testifying.
