And why wasn't it funneled to RMoney and the GOTP in time to be used against Obama, since Cantor knew about it?
I KNOW!! Cantor is secretly in cahoots with the Obama administration, and he's a closet liberal...or a closet mole for the Dem party... or a closet something...
Plain and simple, I think Republicans are angry they didn't get to "use" the Petraeus affair as ammo in the election.
The FBI investigation now is winding down. No one faces charges. Members of congressional intelligence committees are angry they were not put in the loop during the Petraeus investigation. But, the FBI says with no national security issues involved, such notification was not required.
And now it looks like another general is involved, possibly shared the same woman, just like the Kennedy brothers. Think Team Obama is going to do some better vetting when they look into replacements for Petraeus, Geithner, Hillary, and others as a new team is assembled?

No, THIS general is somehow involved with the one in Tampa, Jill Kelley... Not the same one as Petreus...(Paula Broadwell).
Of course, what is really funny is that this whole thing started snowballing when Kelley went to the FBI friend about the so-called "threatening" emails from Broadwell. The FBI agent we now know is sending his shirtless pics to Kelley...(for which he is now under investigation by the FBI's Office of Professional Ethics.) We also now know that this FBI agent was the one who went to Eric Kantor back in October with the information thinking that it could possibly be used to hurt the Obama campaign, since said FBI agent is an Obama-hater...
"Oh what a tangled web we weave......" Now it would appear that Kantor should have to answer for why he didn't inform the House Committee about what he knew, and when he knew it. And it all unraveled because of an Obama-hating FBI agent... Personally, I don't care who Petreus is schtupping...I think that's a private matter--until you find out that Broadwell knows about classified information...like the travel schedules of certain generals and administration personnel...
Paula Broadwell appears to have thought Jill Kelley was involved with Petraeus.
And it was interesting to see how the lovers would communicate. Write "draft" e-mails and give each other access to their g-mail accounts. So actual e-mails wouldn't be sent. You just sign in to read the drafts. Terrorist cells and teenagers use the same system to prevent detection.

Jill Kelley, Petraeus Whistle Blower, Owes Millions In Debt: Report
Jill Kelley, the Florida woman who first exposed the sex scandal that led Gen. David Patraeus to resign, had major legal and financial trouble long before she burst into the spotlight, according to recent reports.
Kelley, 37, and her husband Scott Kelley, a cancer surgeon in Tampa, Fla., have been sued at least nine times, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Despite their lavish lifestyle, they face foreclosure and massive amounts of debt, according to court documents.
Jill Kelley, who blew open the Petraeus scandal when she contacted a friend who worked for the FBI to report harassing emails from the CIA director's mistress, Paula Broadwell, lives in a $1.5 million mansion on Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Regions Bank is trying to foreclose on the historic waterfront home where the socialite entertained Petraeus and other VIPs, including military leaders stationed at MacDill Air Force Base.
The couple also face foreclosure on a three-story office building they own in downtown Tampa. Court records show that the Kelleys owe their bank nearly $2.2 million on the property, according to the the Tampa Bay Times. A judge last year ordered the building be put up for sale.
Early reports of the content of the "harassing" emails seemed to indicate that they "weren't THAT threatening"... So, a lot of folks were like "WTF?" and how did all of this FBI involvement get started.
Wellllll, since "speculation" seems to be the magic-word of the day, now a lot of people are starting to think that Kelley started this whole ball rolling to try to find a way to make money off of it....to cover millions in debt... Talk shows, magazines, ..... You can't make this stuff up...
Well, here's the definitive word on Petreaus' indiscretions:
Pat Robertson On General Petraeus, Paula Broadwell Affair: 'He's A Man' (VIDEO)
Television evangelist and ultraconservative Pat Robertson doesn't think General David Petraeus should be condemned for his affair with writer Paula Broadwell. After all, she is "an extremely good looking woman" and "he's a man."
