I wonder if I'll be able to get this on Dish Family package. LOL

"Al Jazeera became a powerful new outlet for news from the Middle East and other parts of the world. Even so, it had yet to reach cable audiences due to a reluctance on the part of big cable distributors to carry the network. That could change soon, thanks to a deal through which it would acquire Current TV — and more importantly, Current’s distribution network."

I think I'd rather see news about the Middle East from Current-TV than FauxNews... With FauxNews you know, in advance, that you will get nothing but the anti-Isam, "The Only Good Muslim is a Dead Muslim" slanted news.

And if they hired Keith Olbermann back, I'd watch for sure!

I think Fox ESPN MSNBC and Current head honchos wouldn't mind if KO was kidnapped by AQ. But who would pay the ransom?

And Al Gore sold the network just before Obama's new taxes cut in. Nothing like walking the walk.

Maybe the new channel will be called "Al Gore Jazeera" :)

That is probably true about some businesses like s-corps and partnerships being sold before 2013, much lower rates.

Yeah, since only 4% of "small business" and s-corps will cross the $450,000 threshold, I can see this being such a serious problem....

And since I would bet money that not ONE of the Teabagger/Randroids on 285Bound will be paying 1$ more on their marginal rates because they exceeded the $450,000 level, I'll save my crocodile-tears for ya...

Probably a lot of people like me who never heard of Current TV , maybe they'll change the name to something that reflects Al Jazeeras point of view? I'll be surprised if it takes off in the US if they do.
