To satisfy the concern by frogger, all she had to do was to do a google search in regard to her question. For example:
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told ABC News that as many as 100 hostages are being held, and that there may be seven or eight Americans among them. "Right now, we just really don't know how many are being held," said Panetta, who said information about the situation, including the total number of hostages and where they are being held, is "pretty sketchy." The kidnappers have released a statement saying there are "more than 40 crusaders" held "including 7 Americans."
By "the White House" frogger meant "the president." She is trying to point out passively aggressively that the president hasn't addressed the hostage situation. It's a way of suggesting that he's not doing anything about it.
FredHayek wrote: Crusaders? Interesting term. I wonder how many Americans would consider the war against Al Quaida a crusade, or a holy war. Maybe 20%?
Crusaders are a reference to the wholesale slaughter of Muslims by the Catholic Church during 1000 - 1300. I doubt that the term was meant for the edification of Americans, but was setting out the motivation of the terrorists.

You would think that she would come out and say that rather than playing the passive aggressive card.
