Larry Wayne Thornton of Forsyth, Ga., was sentenced to four years of probation for “possession of an unregistered firearm” and “possession of a firearm without a serial number.” He is one of 17 people pardoned today.
I guess when you're Barry you can flip flop on your own opinion when ever you want and no one will notice.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Apparently. What you don't get from the story, and what I have not been able to ferret out yet, is "the rest of the story." I'm interested in learning if the charges were brought as the result of a crime like armed robbery or if there are other circumstances involved. Either way this guy was let off the hook for breaking the law at a time when stopping "gun violence" is to the fore of our elected leadership's attention.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Do you have any information that the individual who was pardoned after he did his time was found guilty of "gun violence"? What are the facts concerning his life after his conviction for an unregistered gun? Typically a pardon is based on 1) conviction of a non-violent, 2) serving the full sentence, and 3) having an exemplary life serving the community after serving your sentence. Which of these are you attacking the presidential pardon based upon?

Why am I wasting the keystrokes and time it takes to reply to an Obamabot? I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV. Go do your own research and we'll compare notes when more of the story is available to the public. In the meanwhile the fact remains - OBAMA PARDONED A MAN CONVICTED OF FIREARM CHARGES.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

A man who served his time, who apparently had no history of violence, and apparently lived an exemplary life after serving his sentence. Just trying to understand what you have against Mr. Thornton when you say you don't know him?

Link and/or empirical evidence Mr. Thornton is deserving of a pardon?
What about the hypocrisy of Barry condemning "gun violence" while pardoning an individual who was convicted by the Feds while he is on a tear to repeal US Citizens 2nd amendment rights? That would be the main point of the original post but don't let that be a distraction...
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

What is the contradiction? Mr. Thornton was not convicted of any crime involving "gun violence"? President Obama has done nothing to repeal anyone's right under the 2nd Amendment. So what is the "main point" of the OP?
