Shhhhhh... The "Queen of Baby-Talk", Half-Governor Moose-Meat, is speaking... :rofllol
Sooooo..... the White Nationalist Aryan Conclave, (otherwise known as CPAC), has:
1) Booed Karl Rove
2) Booed John McCain
3) Booed Rob Portman, (I guess for changing his position on gay-marriage, after a 2-year struggle with his "evolving position" because he has a gay son that came out to him--2 years ago)...(It's an "evolving position" when it's a Republican, but a "flip-flop" if it's a Democrat, right?)
4) Heard the Queen of [predominantly-unintended] Comic Relief come out from under her rock to make the usual ankle-biter lame jokes about:
..a) birther jokes
..b) teleprompter jokes
..c) "boob" jokes...(how appropriate) about her "rack"
..d) Big Gulp jokes
And they pre-empted Chris Christie and Bob McDonald for this?
And that's just the 3rd day....So far.... Stay tuned....
Jenny Beth Martin CPAC: Tea Party Patriots Co-Founder Speaks At Annual Event
"We've been mocked, marginalized and maligned by President Obama" Martin said.
No, honey, you've been mocked, marginalized and maligned by the American People.... (Latest 2013 poll: TeaBaggers: 8% popularity; 56% Negative)... That bites, don't it?
“You’re going to hear a false attack that we don’t need new ideas,” said Gingrich. “Let me draw a distinction. We don’t need new principles ... we do need new ideas" to put those principles into practice.
Gingrich gave a pretty strange demonstration of what he meant, using props. Apparently, the GOP establishment is "trapped in the age of candles" and the Obama administration wants to "redistribute the candle wealth," and the GOP should be Thomas Edison, cold inventin' the lightbulb. Gingrich went on to say that he's been attempting to convince GOP legislators to embrace this "idea-driven" vision, but they remain "blind to it." (Maybe because the whole "candle vs. lightbulb" story needs some tweaks? I'm just trying to be helpful.)
Gingrich did speak warmly of some current members of the GOP -- including Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. But the "dominant wing" of the party, he insisted, was "mired in stupidity."
Always a pleasure to hear from a "family values" guy...who's on his third wife. But they want you to be sure and go buy those books and videos!...(and apparently, "light bubs".)
i will let LJ continue with her CPAC tirade but i thought I would throw in some actual speeches so that folks can wade through the garbage and listen and decide for themselves. (what a concept.)
Carry on LJ
