They don't live in Park county. The 387 against it feel
there are about 23 for it, BOCC, Land Water Trust trustees.

That was a bully reply in my opinion, we have that already
for the last 7 years. No Thank You Lillian.

TILT,

Above is a quote from you. My numbers are from your quote. I did not have numbers from a source, so I inquired as to your source to help me gauge if there is fact and what the interested parties wanted. Sorry, no political actions on my part. Maybe next time. LOL!

Thanks for the reply

I would support a tax district for the Bailey side of the county to improve our roads. I dropped $50 bucks just this week fixing a cracked weld likely caused by our roads. I have spoken with neighbors on this subject and they would also be willing to pay more to reduce their car repair bills caused by our roads.

If we pay more in taxes, we would expect better thought leadership on roads. For example don't use recycled asphalt on roads with steep inclines. The county wasted a ton of $ on several road projects over the years (example recycled asphalt) and the roads are worse today than when they were dirt.

Enforcing the LUR's would be great. The current enforcement staff wants to take action. The county has court orders against many properties, but the BOCC won't move forward on the foreclosure against property owners who ignore the order to clean up their property. The county needs to put some teeth into the court orders and take action otherwise Park County will become known as Sanford & Son county.

Anyone willing to take a stand on these points will get our vote and we will speak to our voting neighbors to sway their votes.

billy wrote: Lillian, what is your plan for the following

Improve secondary roads - many items on our vehicles are only lasting 1/2 life due to poor roads and the lack of maintenance. If a BOCC member had to drive on some of these roads, you beat Dave K's team would fix these roads. I would gladly pay a tax to help the roads, since this would be cheaper than the repair bills.

LUR's - there are several properties in the county with court ordered judgments in favor of Park County, but the BOCC refuses to foreclose against these properties. What will you do as a BOCC member to enforce the LUR's and clean up the junk yards?

Hello there billy:

Sorry about the delay on this response.

What I have proposed and discussed at some the candidate forums is Road maintenance District that would be voted on by the voters and would allow districts on both the North and South side of Kenosha Pass. There could even be more than one district per area if the voters chose to do exactly that. The citizens of this county would determine how the districts would be defined and for what purpose (i.e. only road maintenance no equipment purchase) or what ever they decided would be appropriate for their areas. A citizens committee should be allowed to have input offer their suggestions along with R&B. There could be a sunshine placed on this proposal of 5 or 10 years or again what ever was voted on by the citizens.

I believe that if you aren't going to enforce the county regulations then you shouldn't have them. Some of these junk areas are very unsightly. While I was in office we went after many of these problems. Unless they are kept up with and the commissioners make every effort to continue enforcement then we will continue to have the same problems. I will as I did in the past work closely with our violations and complaint person to resolve this issue once again.

Let me know what you think of these proposals.

Thanks for letting me resond to your questions.
Lillian

Tilt ***** , you have the ability to express in-depth thoughts in a manner that makes the public want to stand behind you and fight the big battles. NOT

Maybe the following will help you in your quest for knowledge.
1) you can't foreclose on an entity / board, especially an elected board.
2) the condition of the roads and the ability to move forward on legal judgments are only connected by the fact all issues in our county roll up to the BOCC. Otherwise they are entirely separate items.

Lillian: And the "good ol' boys" prevail, once again.... Our poor County, today is a very very sad day. You ran a heck of a campaign, and I beleive there is definately something wrong with these number. How could the people vote in someone like Dowaliby? Well, he's already been prepped, and knows of all the corruption, they've got to keep him in. And we all knew that Kintz would be an easy "good ol' boy". God bless you and Michael for bringing us hope for change and to get our County back!! But this is a long way from over. In fact it's just the beginning. I can't wait till all the idiots that voted out the good, see our Sheriffs face on the evening news (along with a few others), just so we can all stand up and proudly yell to the top of our lungs, "WE TOLD YOU SO"!!!! Then we won't be the "crazies" afterall, we'll be the "heros" for TRYING so hard to let the community know what is really going on in there. In the meantime, I hope that Park County doesn't turn into a ghost town with tumbleweeds rollin' everywhere, such a beautiful county, and we all deserved the best, and you and Michael are definately two of the best!! I just wanted to thank you, and it's not over, and you well know.....

I agree 4evryoung, there is something very wrong with the numbers. I keep reading in various places that the votes where counted in Fairplay?? Debra Green was supplying the numbers?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

It was my understanding that Debra Green couldn't touch those ballots, couldn't even look at them. Shouldn't be around them. WHO was counting those ballots the "good ol' boys" of Freddie's world?? LOL
Secondly, why aren't those ballots taken down to the Federal Building to be counted, a NON-BIASED, NON-PARTISAN, NON-AFFILIATED county citizen counting those ballots??? Just sayin.......

Because that's not in election law. Can you imagine if every county had to truck their machines, paper ballots, and provisional ballots to the Federal Building to be counted? We'd NEVER get results.

I'm not happy with the outcome of the election but we need to be realistic about how the system is set up.

I want to thank all of my supporters for giving all you had to try and get me elected. I wasn't successful but we opened the eyes of many. It is my sincere hope that the citizens of this county will continue to fight for what is right for all of Park County. Winning isn't everything. Making people aware and willing to fight to take their county back is!

I have many new friendships that have come from this election. So you see, I truly am a WINNER! There is a time for crying and a time for reflecting. When we are done with all that, look out Park County and those who think they can take us lightly because here we come!

With Sincere gratitude and appreciation.
