You have to figure there is a big smoking gun or whistleblower out there for this administration to admit they targeted conservative organizations with federal assets.

You all do know, I expect, that this kind of activity has gone on for decades, probably since the IRS was created. It's rare for them to admit it, anyone who isn't paranoid about the IRS isn't paying attention.
Kudos to Archer. One of my liberal friends said it was justified because TEA party people are known tax cheats. But he think more with his emotions than actual facts.

Why would you claim lefties would try to justify this? It's obviously wrong, they had no business doing it, and I'm glad to see them come clean.
The IRS has not "come clean" yet. It has just now become obvious that their actions were undeniable. I seriously doubt that these actions were done by "low level" bureaucrats, as they claim. It most probably goes to the White House.
This issue has less to do with the tea party and more to do with the IRS and the power it has that is rarely checked. Would you all be as outraged if this had been an LGBT group, or an abortion clinic? The IRS should not be profiling based on political agendas, though I do understand the need to profile based on financial red flags.
