Yet not surprising. Many on the left accept without question that anyone that disagrees with them politically is evil, stupid and ignorant.
I caught the end of the Thom Hartman show today. He was explaining that no republican president since Eisenhower had been legitimately elected, Reagan had committed treason and so on.
Meanwhile Hugh Hewitt let his program reading the Declaration of Independence.
The Left accepts EVIDENCE and FACTS that PROVE fraud, unlike the neo-Right which wouldn't accept it if it bit them, if it's their own party.
And isn't it great that while Hugh Hewett is reading the Declaration of Independence on a day when we should be celebrating freedom, in five states, the government can force a woman to give birth against her will. Ya gotta love it.
(...And Reagan DID commit treason, and the "King of non-apologies" simply said "Mistakes were made", (one of the greatest GOP lines in history...It ranks right up there with "Mission Accomplished", and "Yep, we have PROOF of WMD's"...) And Ollie North was guilty of perjury but walked on a technicality.
(Insert standard irrelevant garbage about Roosevelt/Truman/Kennedy/LBJ/....or the Spanish-American War, and World-War I, and the Boer War, .... here: _______________________)
Bigotry is the state of mind of a bigot: someone who, as a result of their prejudices, treats other people with hatred, contempt, or intolerance on the basis of a person's ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic status, or other characteristics.
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. described bigotry in the following quotation: "The mind of a bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract."[1]
Without bigotry, LJ couldn't post at all, that would be discrimination!
Of course, there is also this definition:
bigotry
The way a US citizen from the South distinguishes between sizes of trees.
Earl: "That tree shure is a biggin'."
Bubba: "Rat, but that one ova there is an even bigotry!"
"Many celebrities are celebrating the Fourth of July by wishing their country a very happy birthday. It’s a day where partisanship is pushed aside for good ol’ fashioned patriotism.
Bette Midler is taking a different approach.
The Parental Guidance star imagines a world in which the U.S. lost the war for its independence, but it’s not like that’s a bad thing. After all, she argues, that would mean we’d finally have socialized medicine."

We can all thank the Republicans in Congress for their laser like focus on jobs. Oh.... They haven't passed a jobs bill? No wonder unemployment is still above 7.5%
