Texas... You can't make this stuff up....

Abortion Bill Author Fought Care For Unborn Because 'They're Not Born Yet'

Seems to be a contradiction there, doesn't it? On the pro-abortion side, fetuses aren't human, they have no rights.
Except that pregnant women should get better benefits because they are eating for two.
And it isn't a human, except of the pregnant woman is killed and then the perp is charged with a double homicide.

Funniest thing about HuffPo's article? They show their slant in the first paragraph calling the Texas bill "radical". 20 week cutoff is standard for Europe and over 10 American states, doesn't sound radical for me, and only a slight decrease from the current 24 week standard in Texas.

That does seem kinda silly, but in all honestly, I could have made that up.

I give you a more extreme example. We need a bill to care for the unborn because they cannot vote on their own....or read. * Please note, this is not my actual opinion, just my example of how easy it is to make this stuff up.

People believe a lot of crap, you know that.

North Carolina GOP Attaches Abortion Restrictions To Motorcycle Safety Bill With No Public Notice

WASHINGTON -- North Carolina House Republicans are pushing legislation that would restrict abortion access, attaching the measure to an unrelated motorcycle safety bill on Wednesday and giving neither the public nor Democratic legislators any advance notice.

On Wednesday morning, state Rep. Joe Sam Queen (D) wrote on Twitter, "New abortion bill being heard in the committee I am on. The public didn't know. I didn't even know."

"I wish I had more time to look at this new bill before I had to ask questions about it or debate it," he added.

The bill then passed the state House Judiciary Committee in a 10-5 party-line vote.

The stealth maneuver came after North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory (R) threatened to veto a similar Senate bill on Wednesday morning.

Wow... Still can't get it through any other way than by a "sneak attack". I thought they had all this support from their constituents? So, if it's not attached to a "Motorcycle Safety Bill", or attached to a bill about "Sharia Law", or buried in a state budget, (20 minutes before it's signed), or passed in a "Special Session" (which only requires a 50%+1 vote majority instead of the regular 2/3 super-majority), then the gutless-wonders and neo-wackjobs can't seem to get it through...

Got it. Isn't it nice to see they have the "courage of their convictions".... See ya at the polls.... :rofllol  :VeryScared:

LJ, you are one 100% correct.

as "...." implies all other groups.

I would include all the groups that seem to want to restrict other non-violent people....and individuals.

It doesn't imply that to me...And I'm the one that wrote the sentence...

Nice try, though...

There is NO common sense when abortion is the topic.......it will NEVER be a topic that does NOT elicit strong beliefs.....most
females see the issue as "their body" and most males see the issue as "murder".....(JMO.....I know there are exceptions to this
statement, but, in the MACRO view the woman carries the "burden"/life/responsibilty and IF she is NOT in a financially secure place,
and surrounded with support, OTHER options are deemed necessary....JMO

Actually if you look at the polling numbers, women support access to abortion, but once we go to the third trimester, support among females fall below 50% for abortions.

And I am male and support abortions and Plan B access. I wouldn't want to have to carry a child I didn't want. But I also want to avoid a repeat of Kermit Gosnell and I think women's clinics need the same health standards as men or women with insurance get.

In my belief......there should NEVER be a 3rd term live abort. First term live would be the outer limit for the procedure....(extraordinary circumstances being the exception, because events CAN happen that would be out of norm)......once again, the woman bares responsibility and an INTELLIGENT thoughtful female would NOT opt for 3rd term live....JMO.....
