I'm all for going after the leadership of countries that sanction the murder and abuse their own but let's back out a step and take a look at who could be in charge once Assad is out. I'm not sure that putting Al Qaeda in charge of Syria is our best move. The security of the region is at risk, IMHO now is not the time for rash, unmeasured attacks on a country that is closely allied with Russia, Iran, China, and a bunch of religiously motivated fanatics that welcome death in combat.
