CU: Freedom Of Speech For All?

04 Sep 2013 15:30 #1 by FredHayek
Per the Boulder Camera and reported by KOA, CU-Boulder is thinking about making it illegal for people to discriminate against those with conservative, political views.

lol But they way they are proposing this makes it seem like they are grouping Republicans with transexuals and Druids.

Do you think the Regent's idea is a good one? Do political conservatives need to be protected against discrimination in hiring and lodging?

Sidebar: Would you also support major colleges grouping people of the same faith in the same dormitories or floors? In my Catholic university, only freshman women were segregated in dorms. Muslims, Athiests, Catholics and even Protestants were allowed to live together.

.......did they do this because the conservatives were whining that nobody likes them?

I thought transsexuals and Druids were Boulder mainstream.

Gee, I though conservatives and teabaggers needed to be a protected-class, since they are becoming more and more nonexistent in Boulder?

CU recently set aside a special teaching job for politically conservative professors

It looks like equality for all, when it's for conservatives... isn't? You're hypocrisy is showing again.

lol Archer, how can you know what it is like to be called a teabagger to your face? Or have a landlord refuse to rent to you because you come from a Red State?

(Just kidding!)

So you disagree that college should be a place for people to learn all different perspectives, and not just be spoon fed liberalism?

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
