How many times here have other posters requested links for your claims? Yes people will read them, yes people care where your information comes from, the insults, if that is what they are, are for your arrogance in thinking that you don't need to provide links, that it is up to everyone else to do the research because you can't be bothered.

That's true... easy way out. If you don't believe a point someone is making, post your own source or opinion to refute it, or just ignore the thread competely. Eventually he who has the most provable evidence wins the argument.

I don't really have a problem with Fred's posts, never found him to be a liar or deceiving. Hey this is just a discussion board, not a pHd thesis or Ivy league think tank. I post links when I have them handy, I'm not going to break a sweat looking for them, its just not worth it. I don't expect to change anyone's opinions, its mostly entertainment.

Except they have no way of enforcing the fine other than taking it out of your tax refund. That's a pretty easy one to get around.
