1. The Spanish Inquisition.
Please feel free to add others.

2. Chairman Mao did a great job of re-educating the Chinese.

3. Pol Pot ran a program that was similar to Chairman Mao's, must have been inspired by him.

4. Hitler had a very successful idea with his Kristallnacht and look how well that worked out!

5. There are rumors of entire villages being "vacated" under Stalin's rule but people of that era didn't talk very much about it, they simply re-directed their attention to their love of the Motherland and how wonderful Communism is.

6. If I recall correctly there was something in the Bible about King Herod issuing a decree mandating the slaughter of every male child in Egypt (but I'll confess to being a good Lutheran, I go to church on Easter, Christmas, and to attend weddings and funerals).

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Whyne hijacked this thread several posts ago, may as well go off on a tangent in any random direction.

How about this topic: Who eats more boogers per annum Liberals or Democrats?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

At this point it doesn't matter. His stuff has been stripped out of the thread twice, he's not been able to address the subject at all and he's done a smack up job on his own of showing his lack of knowledge or understanding of the subject matter.

There is enough information in this thread for any intelligent person to question this administrations ability to deliver what they have been promising for 3 1/2 years.

Of course they will fix it. And how secure is anyone going to feel about the their personal data. Information Technology experts have been concerned over the security of the data.

I'm concerned too... after seeing what I have seen, reading what I have read and knowing firsthand what kind of massive undertaking this is.

I want them to get it fixed. There are 15 million people (or 30 million, it depends on what day it is... this figure has been like a moving target) that needs this to work.

I want it to work. But I seen nothing yet that tells me it's going to work and that the data is safe.

Hell... Snowden walked out with terabytes of NSA data... how safe is the medical, financial and personal information that Healthcare.gov is collecting?

How about scraping Barrycare all together and going to war with the Health Insurance industry instead? Got a broken arm? Should it make any difference what it costs to treat it because of where you are geographically or because of your income level? The Health Insurance industry is already a racket, under Barrycare it's legalized extortion and the IRS has all of us by fists full of short curly hairs.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Which you apparently don't find as much to your liking as your own smart-assed tripe. When are you going to get the picture, old man? I'm not going to help you with your public mental masturbation.

Popular is something that people want to do.
Ray, I've met you. So I understand the basis for your internet persona. Truth be told, I pity you.

Isn't that sweet little man. Popular doesn't require a mandate or punishment for noncompliance, try again plebeian.
