Funny, the only reference I can find for Fred Thompson saying this is a link to your post on the MMT message board

Not at all sure what that cartoon has to do with my post you quoted[shadow:1dcnjf1j][/shadow:1dcnjf1j], but if a cartoon is the best you can do for a response you look like the one squirming.

Is that the official GOP elephant? So it's really just an overgrown mouse...... An apt description of the Tea Party, delusions of grandeur and all that.

Fortunately the Tea Party is not all of the GOP, nor is it the only underpinned motivation for actions that the GOP takes in political machinations.

EI: see the recent cave in that the GOP gave on the budget and funding battles. If the Tea Party was so strong as you like to consistently throw into the conservative faces, then we would still be shut down and you wouldn't be getting your SS check.

It was a tweet from him. I think it was said half in jest.

The Obama administration outright lied about 1000's and 1000's of users crashing the healthcare.gov website.

Days before the launch of President Obama’s online health insurance marketplace, government officials and contractors tested a key part of the Web site to see whether it could handle tens of thousands of consumers at the same time. It crashed after a simulation in which just a few hundred people tried to log on simultaneously.

Despite the failed test, federal health officials plowed ahead.

When the Web site went live Oct. 1, it locked up shortly after midnight as about 2,000 users attempted to complete the first step, according to two people familiar with the project.

And don't anyone attempt to rebuke this and say the administration had no way of knowing how many people actually hit the website and attempted to sign up.

It takes one minute to run a report from the server logs that will give you a myriad of information about users accessing the site. IP addresses (where they started from, sort of like their phone number), how long they stayed on the site, what pages they did load or attempted to load and easiest of all THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO ACCESSED THE SITE.

This is 600 million plus taxpayers dollars that they pissed into the wind and then spent the last 3 weeks trying to tell you it was simply raining.

This is peoples health care future these fools are gambling with. We got the law, it is law... now start acting like responsible adults and concerned politicians and stop lying, stop sugarcoating it, tell the press to stop the obvious attempts at making this look like it isn't a problem and take some responsibility for what happened.

Every moment of the day, every event in my life requires intelligent decisions and responsible actions. And I loose if I don't stick by that formula. These assholes get to keep their salaries, keep their free Cadillac health care, get to keep the perks and payouts, buyouts and sellouts and chortle and chuckle at us behind our backs.

My bullsh*t meter has peaked and broke.

Can't handle 2000 but expected to cover millions of uninsured. If I was the administration, I would be embarrased.
Karen Sebilius is saying she can't testify before Congress because she is trying to fix the problem. I am sure she is writing code at her desk right now. (Or hopefully taking bids from more competent companies?)

Fred... your information is out of date "The House Energy and Commerce Committee confirmed Monday night that Sebelius would meet with the committee next Wednesday."

Try... just try a little to confirm your statements before you make them.

I found the second guy who managed to sign up for health care at Healthcare.gov.

(Possibly not safe for work, if you work in a convent)
