GOP And Tea Party Unfavorability At Record Highs
Unfavorable ratings for both the Republican Party and the tea party have ticked up to record highs, according to a CNN/ORC poll released Tuesday evening.
Sixty-four percent of Americans view the Republican Party unfavorably, and 56 percent view the tea party unfavorably. Both are all-time highs in CNN's polling, although in each case, it's only a 2-point increase from a survey taken Sept. 27 through 29.
Prominent Republicans have also taken a hit.
House Speaker John Boehner's (Ohio) unfavorable rating is at 55 percent, up from 48 percent just before the shutdown, while Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's (Ky.) unfavorables rose to 42 percent from 39 percent before the shutdown. Members of their own party are also increasingly rating them negatively, according to polling. Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), one of the most vocal supporters of the shutdown, saw his unfavorable rating climb 6 points to 42 percent.

Do you still see the "stains" of all the other PARTIAL government shutdowns in the past? I don't. But the STAIN of the ACA will never wash off unless it's actually flushed like yesterdays Taco Bell lunch.Big Dougy wrote:

The stain from the shutdown is growing! You know how when your watching a good game, you know its a good game, but you never know how good its gonna be in history or in peoples memories of it?
The Shutdown has left indelible imprints on peoples minds....That might have been it for republicans for at least 20 years, possibly forever- Its like when suddenly, country turned on Senator Joe Mccarthy- Suddenly he was thought of as a cause rather than a cure

And after the fiasco of ACA website look for the Pres numbers to go down some more. People are finally getting the message.

What does it matter...Bush didn't pay for the Iraqi surge either. Two unpaid for wars, and an unpaid-for drug benefit, and unpaid for tax-cuts... (All of which became part of the National Debt that the hypocritical teabagger party wanted to crash the economy over...)

Responsibility? Accountability? From this administration?
IRS, Benghazi, F & F, NSA Spying, AP wiretaps, Obamacare, Solyndra et al. The list continues to grow.
Has ANYONE been found responsible for ANY of these events?
