This "different paradigm" is not new or different. This is the way your family doctor or your neighborhood doctor operated many. many years ago. He knew all his patients, some from birth, and he visited your home, and knew everyone in your home.

YES...doctors prescribe drugs.....the pharmco rep sells the drug, the pharmco
company OK"S a kick back, the doctor gets a "cut" IF he writes a script for THEIR DRUG.... .....the WHOLE of the issue is multi tiered because EVERYONE in the industry
is involved with the "feeding from the pharmco trough."..... TV ads are one of
the "starting points"....."ask your doctor about....." BETTER LIVING THRU
CHEMISTRY.....(not)...JMO
Homeagain I am following your posts. What do you suggest as an alternative besides cutting off the Pharmaceutical companies since Obumacare doesn't work, nor will most government run programs? I am eligible for Medicare, tried it but my doctor wasn't on the plan and spent more in supplemental and other and finally changed to a plan outside of Medicare that my doctor and the specialists I needed were on with much better results.

Looks to me like HA is advocating more input and decisions from the consumer. Too late for that, the system is now approaching 100% government control and definition. There are no options or choices anymore, just do what you are told, buy a standard plan, and pay a percent of your income decided by Obama.

You better giddy up and find that "function medicine physician" that works within the ACA or you better have lots of extra liquid assets for health care in your senior years. Any doctor working outside the ACA will be charging more because they will not be making a living from volume like doctors who will be under more gov't control.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
IF your health is your PRIMARY concern, then I would make CERTAIN that my doctor and I were
on the same page for treatment......that it would be a partnership, and NOT a autocratic
arrangement....I have ALWAYS maintained that stance and I will CONTINUE to search/require/
a PARTNERSHIP in my health.....it is MY body....so I DO expect that request to be honored.JMO
