Please note the White House is from 2007 - which, from my calculations, pre-dates Obama.

The cost to US tax payers for educating, health and human services {medical and welfare) of an estimated 13 million illegals is staggering.

Are you basing that solely on the link you provided?

Since so many work for cash, day labor and other methods that pay little if any taxes, how do you think they pay their way? Sales tax is paid by everyone and is only a portion of taxes.

If you want the government to prove it to you, search GAO cost of illegals and see if your calculator can go that high.

I am almost amazed at how conservatives are getting all bent out of shape about this. Granted, I suspect that President Obama has stretch his powers far beyond what is reasonable (I don't know if it's legal, I'll leave that to the constitutional lawyers). But on the side of these 3.9, 4, 5, 6 what ever millions of illegal aliens (the number keeps floating around) who will gain some benefit from Obama's orders, it's a nothing burger.

1) These illegal aliens in question have been here for a while. They didn't just rush over the boarder yesterday.

2) Many of these illegal aliens have certainly been working, under the table or above the table with fake identification.

3) One way or another, they have been contributing to the economy. Purchasing good, gas, food and clothing. And those illegal aliens that are covered under these orders that have fake identification numbers, have probably been paying taxes through paycheck deductions.

4) Obama's orders are really a smoke and mirrors effort, with not as much impact as those that are "outraged" would like to suggest (sort of like his ISIS campaign, just enough to appear to be doing something about ISIS, not enough to have to give his Nobel Peace Prize back).

But there are some smart moves the GOP can now make, which will help them both politically and be helpful to the country.

1) Pass a strong border control bill. No, we are not building a wall around the whole country, but there has been enough input from ICE, Homeland Security and other agencies that deal with the boarder to indicate that there are areas that need revisiting and changed. If Obama vetoes it, then the obstruction ball is suddenly in his court.

2) Pass bills that add funding to the courts that deal with immigration cases and the rest of the agencies and law enforcement so they have the tools to QUICKLY remove illegal, dangerous aliens from our country. If Obama vetoes it, then the obstruction ball is suddenly in his court.

3) In general, the GOP needs to look at each aspect of illegal immigration, one step at a time starting with addressing border control and start writing and passing bills that will take care of holes they find. No comprehensive bills. Obamacare is an example of what happens when a bill becomes more than 4 pages long. No one reads it, no one know what's in it and no one can figure it out after it passes. One bill at a time. If Obama vetoes it, then the obstruction ball is suddenly in his court.

If the GOP wastes it's time falling into the trap that the president has set, then it's going to be their own fault. Now is not the time to waste on procedural bickering. Now is the time to make the next two years as production as possible.

And every time Obama vetoes something, then the obstruction ball is suddenly in his court.

I would tend to agree.

And at the end of the 70 page pdf file, what is the total and does it take into consideration all aspects of their impact here?
