SORRY, meant multi-task....(not in context of texting and driving/putting on lipstick) BUT,
throwing load of laundry into wash/unload dryer, feed cat AND get out the door to work before 7AM)...her
DH works from home and he is totally clueless on how to accomplish housework/AND work from home.

That's an easy answer. He's not clueless. He doesn't want to. If forced to do it, she needs to be prepared for shrunken sweaters and mixed color loads.
Now, if it's work from home and do something he cares about (like keep an eye on the smoker that's creating the latest batch of beef jerky), I'm betting his "multi-functioning" would work just fine.

S-o-o-o, IF I understand the posts...men don't WANT to help and will allow the woman to have a full time
job (YEP, we need that extra paycheck)AND do the mundane multi-tasking REQUIRED to maintain a home
that they BOTH live in....let's see now, it appears some Inequities are at issue.... and THEN
guys wonder WHY the bedroom equates to SLEEP, rather than play....
I would say it is all males more than just men. If you look at male animals, they are much more likely to explore new areas and have a much greater range than the females of the species.
So we are the same people who are more likely to be test pilots and also more likely to tie balloons to a lawn chair in an attempt at flight.

Ya lost me there. My wife retired when we had our first kid, and she's been a Mom and a volunteer for about 16 years now. She gave up a computer programming career that cut our income in half.
We're kinda old fashioned that way.
And I shrunk one of her sweaters. Now I'm not allowed to do laundry. I can run the vacuum. That's OK - it's the only household cleaning job that requires power tools.
I was just out cleaning the garage. Found my old wrist rocket. Picked up a rock, loaded it, streeeeeeeeetched it back and the band broke. Nice welt on my temple. We never get past it.

GOOD arrangement (being old fashion)....exception, rather than the norm, I think...just curious about OTHER couples arrangements,as my girlfriend (full time Hospice nurse...AND going for her
N.P. advancement) found her work at home husband balking at the "house duties"....(both in their 50's)
On the OP original topic, the Extreme Sports angle just seemed so "out there" I never could wrap my mind around the desire/rush/stupidity ....
I think I can distill the answer to the original question down to a single phrase: "...hold my beer and watch this..." I haven't met a female woman type yet that ever said that (unless she was recounting the story behind how her man got hurt or broke something or both and more).
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
