I just read the story on the rhino poachers who broke into a wildlife preserve to poach rhinos. They were attacked and eaten by a pride of lions. (Not to make a bad pun, but I'm proud of the pride!). It is one of the rare stories about even rarer perfect justice!
Carrie and Rick,
Shame on you!! Innocent blacks, trying to feed their families, where murders, most greusomely by a gang of blonde mammals showing no mercy. Where is your social conscience.
Why not? Rhinos are a great source of protein and the game preserve is an artificial construct of the South African white supremacists that stole the land from the down trodden blacks.
Since South Africa has been having multi-racial general elections since 1994, it's quite clear that your argument is both moronic and offensively flippant regarding that country's history.
The United States has had multi-racial elections since 1865. This fact did not stop lynchings, etc. And now multi-racial elections in South Aftrica are not stopping the murders and expropriation of property. As our former president said, Elections have consequences.
With regard to Rhino as a source of protein: (CNN 5/20/2015)
"Northern Namibia (CNN)The morning after he shot and killed a black rhino, Corey Knowlton returned to where the hunt ended for the final act.
Knowlton and a small group of hunting guides spent hours in the brush of northern Namibia, field-dressing the nearly 3,000-pound rhino, cutting through the 2-inch thick hide, revealing massive pieces of meat.
The rhino meat was loaded into the back of a large trailer and delivered to a small village in a desolate, seemingly forgotten spot. There was a modest church and a small schoolhouse. Most homes didn't have running water or electricity.....
The 15th Amendment giving African Americans the right to vote wasn't
ratified until February 3, 1870
and "the promise of the 15th Amendment would not be fully realized for almost a century. Through the use of poll taxes, literacy tests and other means, Southern states were able to effectively disenfranchise African Americans. It would take the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 before the majority of African Americans in the South were registered to vote."

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
