The good news is that that Q2 is just around the corner so rather than debating it we can sit back and watch what happens.

Funny how a president who is getting slammed for wanting to end wars and bring troops home is now being accused of wagging the dog over Venezuela. SMH

I'm trying to decipher your point here, so maybe you could clarify? Are you saying that you believe Trump will use the military to take Maduro out? And as for your proclamation that we will be in a recession in the second quarter, where are you getting this information or is this just based on your gut feelings? As for Trump's "legal troubles", could you please explain to me what those are, or are you just hoping Adam Schiff and other TDS lunatics are going to find something, anything?

Just seems like a lot of hoping for failure with no credible evidence to support those hopes (kinda like the whole Trump Impeachment thread).

Agree. I have been hearing ever since the election that President Trump was going to be impeached of thrown out of office using the 25th amendment. Instead, he continues to preside. The economy is doing well. Unemployment is down. The Senate just announced that they have found no evidence of collusion between his administration and the Russians. Maybe it is time for the Democrats to start looking at their choices in 2020 instead?

Back on topic: Venezuela? Personally I find it amusing that America is so upset thinking that Russia tampered with our elections, but we have no problem invading other countries and replacing their leaders, even if the elections were corrupt.

APPARENTLY you have not been paying attention to the credible and concrete links I am providing. NOT from Politico or the Daily Beast or Salon.but rather from Bloomberg, reuters
,stratfor, business insider.....marketwatch, shall I continue with the list.? TO TRULY understand what is occurring ,you have to take a MACRO view.....and piece the information
together as best as you can......something that takes TIME AND RESEARCH....if you are
an independent thinking individual.....which by the way,,,,I am INDY....so don't throw the
liberal label at me.

Please go through the old issues of your favorite sources and just check how much they get wrong. I used to be like you and treat them like oracles who had access to information I didn't, but so many times their sources have agendas and are partisan. And scrambling to cover their butts. Been watching The West Wing and it is interesting watching the behind the scenes interaction of political rivals. Feeding stories to the press. Ever seen "House of Cards"? President Clinton said that show was the closest to how DC really acts. You can get to the truth, but you have to do a lot of sifting and those truths can change overnight.
