Biden is a poor choice as a candidate. He will be 78 a couple months after he wins. Older than Ronald Reagan was after he left the job. But he won the primary so expect to see the media and Democrats prop him up as the man. Should they use regular 2x4's or pressure treated 4x4's? I wonder who will be the power behind the scene, Jill Biden? His chief of staff? His vice presidential pick? It is very rare for an American president to be an empty suit, but I think Joe might be the first in a long time. Maybe Reagan in his second term? But even then, he was overruling his staff and telling Gorbachev to tear down this wall.

If Biden goes on to the general election, Trump will win in a landslide.

I hope you are right. I don't have a good feel for this one yet. I think a lot will depend on how effective Biden is at getting out his base. Hillary Clinton didn't get as many minority voters as she needed, especially in the Rust Belt.
