I agree. That is why I am still registered as one but feel the party has drifted away from me.

Seriously though, I grew up in that type of family (I know....hard to believe huh?) but then I became a Dem. Now I'm registered as an Independent.

Really? Which part of their platform don't you agree with? Less government waste and spending? Lower taxes? Less government involvment in our personal lives? More personal responsibility? More personal freedoms? More government accountabily? A more open and honest government? Just curious what it is about the Tea Party that so many are scared of or don't like.
