If you feel so strongly that President Trump broke the law, contact your representatives and demand that he be arrested. If not do it yourself.

Here is a little help:

How to File a Hatch Act Complaint
OSC is also authorized to investigate violations of the Hatch Act. 5 U.S.C. § 1216 (a)(1)(2). If OSC charges an employee with a violation of the Hatch Act, those charges are adjudicated before the Merit Systems Protection Board. 5 U.S.C. §§ 1215, 1504 – 1508, 7321 – 7326. Filers alleging a violation of the Hatch Act should use Form 14 (Complaint & Disclosure Form) to submit their allegation to OSC. Filers can complete the form online by clicking the green File a Complaint button in the top right-hand corner of this screen or by hand after printing on of the following forms:

For complaints against federal employees, please fill out the Federal Hatch Act Complaint Form
For complaints against state, local, or nonprofit employees, please fill out the State, Local and Nonprofit Complaint Form.
Once the appropriate form is completed, it should be mailed or faxed (202-254-3700) to OSC. Please also include any evidence supporting your allegations (for example, documents, newspaper articles, photographs, etc.).

Anyway, the tone of Melania's speech was great. She was upbeat, hopeful and didn't trash the idiots on the side of darkness... I had never heard her speak before. I was impressed at her demeanor and charisma. I had thought she was just an accessory for Trump but it turns out that she's pretty brilliant in her own right.

The Alvarez speech was a must hear. If you haven't heard it yet, it's worth a listen, even if you disagree.

I had a pretty good friend who was from Cuba and validated a lot of this. The line about parents putting their children on pieces of wood to cross to Florida because even if they drowned, it would be better than living under Castro... that kinda says it all.

Amazing is the lack of understanding how our system works. This is conjecture and accusation only. When the trial has been completed and a verdict returned, then talk to us.

It's not conjecture. It happened. Everyone witnessed the law being broken - it was even recorded. What's amazing is that conservatives will not admit that. I guess that since it was your tribe that broke the law, it's okay.

So you were at 1600 Pennsylvania during this koobookie? I only ask because there are replica Whitehouses. Do you think the powerful Hollywood just says, hey we want to film there so shut down the govt. because we are so impotent (possibly a misspelled word). You, the Dems, are still playing checkers against a grand master 4 dimensional chess player, our President. Good luck.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

it is a ticky tacky complaint. You really think it is worthwhile to pursue a complaint of a diplomat broadcasting from a new embassy in Jerusalem? Especially for an administration that only has 69 days left?

Remember, when you pull out a sword, it does have two edges. Expect Republicans to throw red flags anytime a Democrat does something similar.

But I do appreciate you pointing out Pompeo's limited speech. President Obama promised to move the US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv, but it turned out to be a empty promise. Even though he had eight years to get it done. Democrats and the media condemned the move by Trump saying it would start a war in the Middle East. It didn't. In fact, many Arab nations are establishing diplomatic relations for the first time with Israel.
The "experienced" diplomatic corps of Kerry, Clinton, and other couldn't achieve this, but the inexperienced Jared Kushner did.
Amazing.

Impeach Trump again! Right? It worked so well the first time.

It's hilarious the permutations you go through to justify the criminal actions of this administration.

You know, Fred, had Obama campaigned from the White House, I would have screamed just as loudly. Had John Kerry given a political speech at the DNC while he was Secretary of State, I would have complained just as much.

Breaking the law is breaking the law. Period. That it does not bother the conservatives on this forum is revealing your character.

No, it isn't. Every day millions of laws are being broken. The police let some of these people go with a warning because it is a minor violation. If we lived like you want, half our time would be spent in courtrooms.

Trivia: FDR gave his convention acceptance speeches on the radio from the White House. Should he have been removed from office during WWII because of this? See, this is a perfect example of letting sleeping dogs lie. Sure, it was a violation, but there were much more pressing concerns than holding an impeachment hearing in the House.
