Politico: Leaked Document- Roe V Wade Overturned

Does Ginsburg say who should make abortion laws? I didn’t see that anywhere. You say women should be able to decide what to do with the human life but does that mean no law is necessary? If a law is necessary, who should make the law?

It’s a pretty simple question.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

No doubt that Planned Parenthood etc. will make up the difference. HA, I imagine you would donate.

"Amazon became the latest corporation to cover employees' travel costs to seek abortion care. The company told staff it would pay up to $4,000 in travel expenses annually for medical treatments including abortions, according to a message seen by Reuters. An Amazon spokesperson confirmed the nature of the Reuters report to CNN Business.
The company's announcement echoes similar moves by Citigroup, Yelp, Uber and Lyft to help employees bypass Republican-led efforts in several states to effectively ban abortion. "

AND IF U DON'T WORK FOR A CORP?

Today, women make up two-thirds of the roughly 23.8 million workers in the 40 lowest-paying jobs in America, reports the NWLC. These roles include home health aides, child-care workers, retail cashiers, waitresses and hotel housekeepers. Over the past month, some of these industries have lost thousands of jobs due to the economic impact of the coronavirus. In other cases, women are on the front lines, risking their lives to provide essential services, often for little pay or protections.

YEP,ya all just keep on your blinders....IT IS NOT DOABLE FOR MOST WOMEN.

Ironically, women are more likely to go to college than men. Even in my class decades ago. And this has only become worse. Why do women continue to be drawn to careers that guarantee low wages? Some studies have said women earn less because they don't have the confidence to demand raises.

YOUR assessment is so-o-o off base....(yes there r a fraction that do not demand parity) BUT THE ESSENTIAL REASON IS BECAUSE THE WOMAN IS A CARETAKER OF THE FAMILY UNIT. SHE HAS TO TEND TO THE SICK CHILD,DR. APPTS,THE ELDERLY MEMBERS IN THE FAMILY,SHE IS THE ONE WHO SACRIFICES HER 'GETTING AHEAD' BECAUSE CORP AMERICA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE,THEY WANT A WARM BODY AND THEY WANT YOU 24/7 IF NEEDED. THE MAN DOES THE 24/7, THE WOMAN TAKES A SECOND RATE ,LOW PAYING JOB FOR THE NEEDS OF THE FAMILY.

LOOK UP THE STATS IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY.....CHILD CARE,HEALTHCARE, VACATIONS, FAMILY LEAVE, PATERNITY LEAVE....THE 1ST WORLD COUNTRIES R LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF AMERICA.

So, when u state "why" do the y settle for low paying jobs, your lack of understanding the issue is GLARING.

The problem with your arguments HA is that you are way behind the times. You talk as if women have more unique and detrimental issues than do men. There is no difference anymore and you just have to face that reality once and for all.

Men can now get pregnant and give birth... men have all the same issues you claim to be exclusively the problems of women. To ignore this new reality is to deny science, and I find that to be an assault on all men who should be treated with the same respect as women, since there are no longer any differences.

You and I are of the old world, but I have evolved and I think it's time you do too.

I love when feminists underestimate women. The fertility around the world has been declining for decades and much of the reason is that they are better educated and their jobs are important enough to family incomes that first births are occurring at a later age than ever.

Some of these feminists are wearing 1960's blinders. They still think we will see back alley abortions. That was 50 plus years ago! A lot has happened since then. Plan B for one. Better birth control.
