My point is that it is undeniably biased. If it's another tool that helps one political ideology, then it's dangerous and is in no way compatible with a so called democracy. If you'd like to argue that it is not biased, I'b be happy to be part of that discussion.

I don't necessarily think AI's were invented by liberals to control populations. But I am worried that they will get corrupted and stop fulfilling the programming of their former masters.

Kunlun Tech

expects to release an open source Chinese version of ChatGPT, as early as the middle of this year, its president Han Fang told CNBC last week. Open source software is available to the public and allows anyone to see, change or distribute the code.

The company, which generates most of its revenue outside China, previously said its niche web browser Opera is planning to incorporate ChatGPT into its products, although it’s unclear when or with what functions.

Kunlun Tech is already working in the field of AI-generated content, such as music.

Fang said his commercialization plan is to first develop those AI tools. Creators can then use the tools to make their own work and publish them on designated platforms for public viewing, following which the company can then sell ads, he said. He expects to launch the platforms later this year.
Transformative potential

Fang said he was directly inspired by OpenAI’s early version of ChatGPT tech in 2020.

“We all talk about the metaverse, but who is in it?” he said in Mandarin, translated by CNBC. “It only changed our news. It didn’t change our lives.”

In contrast, he said generative AI tech can immediately provide value since it operates where users are already producing and consuming content. Generative AI can also lower production costs, allowing animators and speakers of minority languages to easily create their own content, Fang said.

At least one major corporation is banning ChatGPT for employees. Hopefully others take a hard look at this before adopting it.

Shykevich also said that at this point, ChatGPT cannot aid in creating sophisticated malware or creating fake websites that appear, for example, to be a prominent bank's website.

However, this could one day be a reality as the AI arms race created by tech giants could hasten the development of better chatbots, Shykevich told Insider.

Aren't you a little worried about AI's? Or do you think because it is new and unknown, people are just spooked and there is nothing to be worried about?

You have much more experience with this than I do so I was curious to hear your take.

I read a lot of science fiction so this has been on my radar since Junior High when I read Dune.

You need to look beyond your trusted sources instead of just assuming I'm full of shit. I have little hope that you will.

Anyway, this isn't some conspiracy theory of the right. This new technology is like everything else these days... it's developed by biased people and EVERYBODY is biased. My fear is that it will be another tool for our liberal schools to use to help indoctrinate children into being good little work servants of the left. I couldn't care less if you agree with me or not; I'm just stating my opinion. If you think this technology is perfectly harmless, feel free to express your opinion.
