If Amazon lost $60 million last year, had no customers, got investors from Russia so they could do an IPO, was fined by the SEC, two investors pled guilty to insider trading, yada yada yada, then maybe.
I know that financials are difficult to comprehend and I certainly do not expect that of you.
Amazon did not make money for 14 years.
"For a sense of scale, it took Amazon more than 14 years—58 quarters after its May 1997 initial public offering—to make, cumulatively, as much profit as it produced in the latest quarter alone.
Keep in mind that Amazon consistently lost money for its first several years as a public company. It first reported a quarterly profit in the fourth quarter of 2001 and, at $5 million, it barely counted. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has long maintained that investing in future growth is more important than hitting quarterly earnings targets, much to Wall Street’s chagrin."
I realize that you like to smear with a broad brush but the paint you are using does not stick to the wall. Or perhaps you are a graffiti person who spray paints and think it is art.
In one of your previous posts you stated that President Trump would not be able to post bond. He did.
You simply moved on to smear him in another post, on another topic, not bothering to explain why you were so wrong with regard to posting the bond.
It appears that you cannot be bothered to examine a subject but prefer to be superficial and regurgitate the memes of the MSM.
Great points. Some investors seek investments that don't generate income for decades. Amazon was perfect for this. Then when they retire and are in a much lower tax bracket, they can sell those shares. Doctors and lawyers seek out investments like this.
Other investors are just all about the quarterly dividends. And some companies change the type of investors they seek as the corporation ages.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper has called him a “threat to democracy.” Former national security adviser John Bolton has declared him “unfit to be president.” And former Vice President Mike Pence has declined to endorse him, citing “profound differences.”
As Donald Trump seeks the presidency for a third time, he is being vigorously opposed by a vocal contingent of former officials who are stridently warning against his return to power and offering dire predictions for the country and the rule of law if his campaign succeeds.
It’s a striking chorus of detractors, one without precedent in the modern era, coming from those who witnessed first-hand his conduct in office and the turmoil that followed.
Biden's BLM and ANTIFA allies killed many more Americans than January 6th.
While conservatives were taking pictures in the Capitol building, Democrats who refused to accept Hillary lost, burned down the gatehouse at the Executive Mansion.
Which party is more violent? BLM and ANTIFA burned down minority neighborhoods.
