Lots of felons out there. You probably know one.
My lead guy in shipping was a Felon. What did he do, 18, he got drunk and got into a fight outside a bar. Made it nearly impossible for him to get a job.

Trump to undergo probation interview Monday, a required step before his New York sentencing
Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to be interviewed by New York probation officials Monday, a required step before his July sentencing in his criminal hush money case, according to three people familiar with the plan.
Trump will do the interview via a computer video conference from his residence at the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, the people told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to disclose the plans publicly.

If you are a felon, you cannot serve in the military. Crazy Donny is a felon, yet he can be Commander in Chief of the military.
Plus, there's Trump the Insane boast that he would hire only the "best people," yet he is surrounded by felons in his inner circle.
More ignorant? The executive branch has always been separate from the military. Not like Biden nor Trump ever went to boot camp after becoming commander in chief.

By law, the people that he would be commanding cannot be convicted felons.
Irony.
What law? Be specific. Show your work.
According to 10 U.S.C. 504, any person who is a convicted felon is prohibited from enlisting in any military service. However, you may still enlist for military service if you secure a felony waiver. The waiver request is not automatic, and approval depends on a case-by-case basis.
