Be careful when using X or twitter whatever. A lot of the stuff you're seeing there is from GROK, which is Musk's AI chatbot.

Experts say the problem has been exacerbated by X’s AI-powered chatbot, Grok, which has already drawn the ire of election officials for spreading false information about Harris’ eligibility in the 2024 election. Last week, X began allowing users to use Grok to create AI-generated images from text prompts, unleashing a flood of fake content about Trump and Harris.

“Going forward, Grok is likely to be one of the main sources of these sorts of images because it generates high-quality images, is easily available, and was intentionally made to have a low refusal rate,” Hansen said, adding that he was able to use Grok to create images of “Swifties for Trump” that closely resemble the ones Trump shared.

X did not respond to requests for comment on the creation of misleading images involving political candidates.

It stopped being funny when TrumpleThinSkin came down that escalator and said:

She received over 4,000 delegate votes from the convention, so once again, you're wrong. If you're talking about primary votes, she was on the ticket with Biden, so once again, you're wrong.

Her policy positions are out there, you just aren't looking for them. Google is your friend, whether you believe it or not. Here's one site:

President Trump has enough issues, you don't need to lie about him ending Social Security or passing Project 2025. Donald won't have the votes to pass 2025 and even if he did he has more important items on his agenda.

This is from March during the primaries, but hey, he's open to cutting SS and MediCare...

Trump suggests he’s open to cuts to Medicare and Social Security after attacking primary rivals over the issue

Of course, you can't trust anything Trump says, so who knows what he will do. He might have been lying in March. He might be lying now. He was probably lying both times?

Bottom line is that he can't be trusted to tell the truth. Ever. He will do what is expedient for him at the moment.

I prefer to judge a candidate based on what they actually did rather than empty campaign promises.

Both sides like to throw out red meat to get their base excited and donating, but once in office, they are constraints on their power.

President Trump didn't end Social Security. He didn't destroy ACA. He didn't ban same sex marriage.

So I shouldn't listen to anything any candidate ever says. Therefore, why have debates? Why have press conferences? Why have interviews? Why even have speeches?

What a weird position. "Don't listen to my candidate, cuz they all make empty promises."

Deeds over words.

I don't put much stock in debates nor speeches.

Debates aren't like they were during Douglas/Lincoln. Now they are more about "gotcha" moments that substantial arguments for your policies versus your opponents. In fact, if you try to give factual support for your positions, your microphone gets muted.
