It now goes to the next phase of the full committee for the sanction part of the hearing. Hopefully we finally we will be rid of that arrogant criminal that the Libs just voted back in!

if they run true to history he will get a slap on the wrist, some sanctions, and a hefty fine. None-the-less....he is a crook. I doubt he's the only one in congress.

I'll bet there were people other than liberals that voted for Rangel.

FWIW, I'd like to see him gone.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Congressmen and Senators who are re-elected for decades think they can do anything and get away with it.

And it wasn't the "Libs" who voted him back in. It was a majority of the voters in his Harlem district. They are the only ones who can vote for his re-election.

He's not the only trash that needs to get taken out. Archer is right...he's going to get a slap on the wrist.

Eleven counts...Not twelve...

And "good riddance to bad rubbish"... After 50 years in Congress he knew better.

You are right. They first said 12, then said two were split so it is 11.

First there were 13 counts, then 2 were combined making 12, he was convicted on 11. Get your math right.

It's sad that once in office, our elected officials think they are above the mundane laws of this nation.....they are right behind football players in thinking they are immune to prosecution.

OK, now, they slam his hand, and he stays, or what?
CRIMINAL Court is where he belongs... IMO.
