if they run true to history he will get a slap on the wrist, some sanctions, and a hefty fine. None-the-less....he is a crook. I doubt he's the only one in congress.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Congressmen and Senators who are re-elected for decades think they can do anything and get away with it.
And it wasn't the "Libs" who voted him back in. It was a majority of the voters in his Harlem district. They are the only ones who can vote for his re-election.
First there were 13 counts, then 2 were combined making 12, he was convicted on 11. Get your math right.
It's sad that once in office, our elected officials think they are above the mundane laws of this nation.....they are right behind football players in thinking they are immune to prosecution.
