Many more obese American kids than starving ones. Might even be 5 to 1.

why punish children in america? They must eat, we have no such programs where I am from. Parents have to work to feed many children, you have plenty here, stop owing money to government for war. will have money to feed many if you do that.

Even in your homeland there is something called personal responsibility and that is the reason why you don't have those programs. You seem to be becoming one of those who want to be dependent on the government to solve all of your problems and take care of you. You can find many countries in Europe that have tried this Socialism and it either has failed or is failing.

We don't punish children here in America, we just expect that their parent's take the responsibility instead of assuming that the rest of us will take care of them for you. If you don't want the responsibility, keep your legs closed!!!

Go to East HS, or Alameda HS, where most of the kids are signed up instead of a suburban school where a small minority participate.

Bullsh**. How do you know what the garbage cans at Alameda and East high schools look like?

How? One of my friends had to take a job working the North High School cafeteria. She was shocked by the waste but also by the poor quality of the food they served the kids. Maybe if we gave them better food they liked rather than inferior stuff they didn't want to eat.
