My father had a beautiful bass voice. He sang in gospel quartets over the years. I grew up with Gaither Quartet and love this version the the song.

Marshall Hall is great. This is hands down his best vocal. He wrote this with Bill's kid

Wayne, I will no longer respond to a person who tries to confuse by changing his nick several times per day. You are behaving as a jackal. It displays that you do not have any sincerity in your questions or responses.

I remember many posts in which you called VL a moron for insincere behavior.

It appears that Christmas is an extremely difficult time for atheists. They attack the Jewish belief in God.

I thought this was a really good discussion and interesting to hear everyone's beliefs until it turned into disgusting pictures and name calling. Those don't belong in the courthouse, I hate to put this thoughtful discussion in the ring. We could start a second ring one. Or should we move it?

But before I sign off let us consider what separates man from animal without reference to divine creation.
Animals live in the real world. Man is the only creature that can believe a lie or create a lie.
(Do not confuse camoflage as a lie because it is not consciously created by an animal.)

And our moral compass is constructed with language and abstract concepts. In order to experience how animals interpret the world, practice taoism and see all creatures, minerals, plants, colors, etc without naming them in your mind. Divorce yourself from language in your mind. This is not an easy task and will require discipline and practice. But whenever you can view the world without distinction (the tao) you will plainly see that animals cannot have a moral soul because of a lack of language and abstract concept. They are carnal.

Are there any avowed atheists posting here? I know I am not one. You make a lot of assumptions about people. What most are objecting to is equating disbelief with belief. One involves knowledge, one faith.

(BTW- you're wrong about animals not lying)-

By your logic a human who is deaf and dumb cannot have a moral soul. You set a lot of absolutes about stuff you clearly don't understand. Now don't get all offended- it's clear no one clearly understands this stuff, at least not yet.

You clearly do not understand what you are talking about.
The links that you provided do not state that animals cognitively decide to lie to another animal. Carefully re-read my post. A human is the only creature that can cognitively decide to tell a lie, knowing that it is unture.

And animal behavior is restricted by genetic inheritance. This is in connection with action as well as reaction. It is not rational thought or contemplation.

And disbelief is atheist. Not knowing is agnostic. There is a difference of which you must be ignorant. Thank you.

I do not understand why everyone isn't entitled to their opinion? Why is everyone so upset? I have seen many threads attacking and making fun of other religions and there were no objections then. Why now?

I am quite aware of the differences between agnostics and atheists. More so than you obviously. You cast all those who don't agree with you as atheists. I'm pointing out your ignorance. I understand that that upsets you. If you can't conduct a civil discussion on religion you should abstain. If you bothered to read the articles posted you'd have found that thought and calculation went into many of the deceptions. It's okay to say you don't know sometimes. Try it.

ckm8, I have not been responding to any agnostics in this thread. The posters have stated quite clearly that they do not believe. They have not stated that they have grave reservations. You must read much more carefully before you say someone is ignorant.

I am not upset. I have not been angered. My responses are measured.

I have read the articles and am very firm in the fact that animals do not contemplate, weigh and measure in any type of rational thought process. All of the academics of animal psychology is against you. You might want to reconsider just who needs to admit that they do not know. Try it.
