There are awesome tattoos that I like or funny ones, but too many times I see what looks like doodling at best. Really? You want that for the rest of your life on your body?

And I just saw an ad for a tattoo parlor this morning, if you are going to wear it for the rest of your life, find a good artist. Prison or homemade tattoos, really?

Its hilarious how people can make assumptions about why folks have tattoos when they don't have any themselves... Are you a "profiler" do you live your days in and out trying to figure these people out? Maybe you should get a job with the local police department.. geez. Do you really have a right to past judgement on a person that has one? Have you met everyone that has one? Half the people you probably talk to at businesses probably have one and you don't know it because you don't see it. So if you were to see it would your perception of that person change? God hope people don't just you in that manner ... you would probably not have any friends then.... just sayin.

You must be new Ellie... this section is all about making broad brush generalizations. For instance, since I have more of a conservative ideology, that means that I want to see children starve, old people pushed off a cliff, and corporations ruling the world.

Now I'd like to explain it more but I'm late for a KKK meeting

A form of art or a personal milestone.......the tats with the MOST artistic flair and the most VIVID of colors are my favs. THE most
profound tat I ever saw was on a doc. about tats. A woman in her 30's had a double mastectomy and rather than opt for plastic
surg she had a FULL chest beautiful butterfly inked.......the graceful wings wrapped around each side of her rib cage.....it was breath-taking in it's display.....so much so that you did NOT recognize her "wounds".

Fascinating story...

Siberian Princess reveals her 2,500 year old tattoos
By The Siberian Times reporter
14 August 2012

The ancient mummy of a mysterious young woman, known as the Ukok Princess, is finally returning home to the Altai Republic this month. She is to be kept in a special mausoleum at the Republican National Museum in capital Gorno-Altaisk, where eventually she will be displayed in a glass sarcophagus to tourists.

To mark the move 'home', The Siberian Times has obtained intricate drawings of her remarkable tattoos, and those of two men, possibly warriors, buried near her on the remote Ukok Plateau, now a UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage site, some 2,500 metres up in the Altai Mountains in a border region close to frontiers of Russia with Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan.

They are all believed to be Pazyryk people - a nomadic people described in the 5th century BC by the Greek historian Herodotus - and the colourful body artwork is seen as the best preserved and most elaborate ancient tattoos anywhere in the world.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
