JH, only wishes for those in attendance to participate and to speak openly about what's on their minds and in their hearts. and,
JH, truly wishes to honor those who attend the 285-Corridor Tea Party Group meetings. Those who do attend are not only interrupting their regular schedules, by leaving their homes and visiting with us, but while they are with us, they genuinely become engaged and attempt to not only aquire as much information about what is happening in the world around them, but they also work diligently to help make necessary corrections.
Each 285-Corridor Tea Party Meeting develops its own unique feeling; its own unique charachter. Each time you attend, it may likely be different. Sometimes the meetings are filled with energy, yet sometimes they seem a bit lethargic; maybe even, as if there is no agenda. You must know SC, that there is always an agenda! If anyone were to regularly attend, they will see that each and every participant; from our guest speakers or our Steering Commitee Members, up to and including any of those folks in attendance, all wish for an intelligent, productive and educational discussion.
I would like to encourage you to regularly attend our meetings and to invite someone new, each and every time you do attend.

Furthermore SC, as you personally witnessed, those of us who participate in the 285-Corridor Tea Party Group, are just plain, ordinary and regular folks and;
As you may well have recognized, we have little polish. Nor do we overly concern ourselves with a perfectly coordinated and precisely orchestrated event. However, there is always a calculated, general level of preparation which we believe, must always exist, and you must see that there exists a clear sense of coordination among all of the presenters.
Hopefully, and in addition, you will understand that from time to time, we also must anticipate and prepare for any new and potentially significant thought, belief or opinion, from anyone in attendance during each and every meeting.
In addition to these truths, I personally invite you and the many others in this forum to attend our 285-Corridor Tea Party Meetings. Everyone should see first-hand, what it is the many people living within our community hope to accomplish, while attending these meetings.
Once in attendance, anyone may raise an aternative opinion and will certainly be acknowledged by the Steering Committee or by any guest speaker.
I hate to bust your bubble, but if it was fun there would be no need for the Tea Party, our group or any other group. The situation in this country is very serious to us. It is the reason why we exist and why the Election last November was such a smackdown to the Democratic regime in power in this country, the Agenda that they have been forcing upon us, the wasteful spending, etc.

I would have been interested at one time, but certain posters here have made it clear that I'm not welcome.
Over the 7 months that the 285 Tea Party Group has been in existence, we have constantly posted that all are welcome. If you have the impression that you are not welcome, maybe you should look at yourself and the attacks that you have made against those who are in the Tea Party Group. We are just normal people, whether you want to admit it or not, that are concerned about the direction that we see our country heading in. If you agree with that direction, then you are probably not one of us. If you are actually underneath, concerned and interested in the same things that the people who attend are, then you are welcome. Simply put, we don't judge the people who attend. We don't ask their screen name on this forum or any other forum.

TM watch the posts from the Tea Party, if a subject is upcoming that is of interest to you, or if you have an issue that you think might fit the addenda. Let us know and come on down. Believe me, we are not all Republicans nor do we agree on every issue. But if it’s smaller less intrusive government and lower taxes you’ll have our ear.
