I feel great that the republicans are doing what they promised cutting spending, all the while obama is wanting to add to it, does he have a hearing problem? I am like trouble, I have no good feeling towards obama and what he is doing to this country. He's a smart man, as a lawyer, not as a president. I have never heard a liberal refer to Obama as the messiah......I have never read anything written by a liberal that refers to him that way.....if you google Obama-messiah all you get are conservatives ranting about it. So I would say no liberals paint Obama as the messiah, but a whole lot of conservatives lie about it.
I would say it is not Obama who is dividing America like you "have never seen in your lifetime" but those who have an irrational hatred of him and will do anything to bring him down, even if it destroys our nation. Yep....that will certainly divide a nation.... as many middle class and low income citizens see the conservatives systematically destroy their hopes of having health insurance they can afford...their hopes that the government would cut spending equitably, not make the majority of cuts on the backs of those least able to afford it.....the hopes that their government would recognize that it is a government of the PEOPLE, not of the corporations and special interests...their hopes of having a nation that will support the very least of it's citizens, not throw them out on the street to save money......the hopes of people who are unemployed that their congresspeople would work on job creation, not be fixated on only one job, that of the president and bringing him down. Yep, you conservatives have most certainly divided this nation over the last two years, and now it is worse.

A nation that stops investing in itself is a nation doomed to failure.
We are going down fast now that the conservatives are in charge.
Now that's funny trouble, loved it...we have no money, but archer wants to invest and spend..with no money..why is it lib's don't understand this concept? Obama doesn't get it, Biden doesn't get it, pelosi doesn't get it...the house democrats don't get it, the democrat senators don't get it...but the American people do get it, and you will see it show in November 2012 elections. I never thought you were this stupid outdoor......but I guess I will have to revise my opinion of you. You cannot just shut down the government for a few years or decades while the country slides into ruin......though the conservatives would like to pretend that we can. There are some things we must fund......the military.....the day to day workings of the government......we have to pay the congress critters....(gee, I haven't seen them offer to take a cut in pay and benefits), we have public lands to keep at least a minimum staff to administer, and we have an infrastructure that muct be maintained and improved.....or we will look like a poorly run third world country in a few years....or is that what you are aiming for? Take the country down, then put in a conservative dictator who promises to bring this country back once it has been thoroughly destroyed?
