You may not like her politics, and neither do I by the way, but as a person she is as good as good gets. I would love to have her living next to me for I know that she is someone on whom you could depend. Anything within my ability to provide is hers for the asking, and she would do the same for me. One could not ask for a better neighbor or friend.

I am greatly disappointed in all of you that voted for Sheen over this fine lady. You have failed to distinguish between social and political opposition and transferred to the person your distaste for her politics. Should you ever have the opportunity to meet her, I hope that you possess enough character yourself to apologize to her for your illiberality in this matter. If you are not embarrassed by your behavior, be assured that I am.

Once again, I am honored... And the feelings (all of them) are mutual...

Maybe I'm missing something. The poll question is who would you rather party with, not who would make a better neighbor. Charlie Sheen's antics are well known. Finish the following statement; party like a _________. If you chose rock-star you've probably picked the number one response. If you chose "mennonite", you need to get out more. :bash

Charlie Sheen v Muammar Gaddafi: whose line is it anyway?
The US actor and the Libyan leader have produced some choice lines recently. Can you distinguish between them?

One is a piss-pot (maybe that was supposed to be despot) dick-tater, and the other is just young Hollywood.

I don't know how you could miss it Heartless. If you can't see the cruel and malicious nature of the OP's intent, I don't know what to tell you. Say whatever you will about her politics. Say whatever you will about progressives in general. Opine that her politics consist of nothing but ignorance. All well and good. But when you get to attacking the character of an individual person who is held in high regard by me in this manner, don't think for a New York minute that I'm going to stay silent about it, regardless of how I view their politics. This goes beyond sophomoric behavior, beyond poking fun, teasing or even ridicule of her ideology - way far beyond it. This was simply malicious in intent and I'm not putting up with it from Baileyboy or anyone else. I care not if mine is the only voice raised in her defense, I will defend her character as a person because she merits that defense.
