Where did I get that info? Property maps and general knowledge, all the info about his development plans fro the pond side of the highway - Lewis owns the property at Shaffer's Crossing, both sides of 285, on Elk Creek and near Elk Creek elementary. He owns a lot more than 40 acres. That whole area is on the district affected map.

Yes, in fact he's running to be on the board. So is Kendra Hood who has been with the park and rec group for some time. Strange that she petitioned to have her property exempted from the district.
You bet he is - I'm betting he thinks if the rec district goes through, he'll get a free pass to do whatever he likes with his property at Shaffer's Crossing.
The District's projected year 1 total administration expenses: 343,996.21
And believe it or not, they actually plan on spending 86,500.00 on recreation.
Projected year 2-10 aren't much different.
Of course all this assumes property tax revenues of 458,614.13 (in addition to other sources)
