DENVER - A proposal to give same sex couples similar protections as married couples passed the Colorado Senate Wednesday.
The Senate passed the measure on a voice vote.
After a third reading in the Senate this week, the bill moves to a tougher battle in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.
Sen. Pat Steadman of Denver sponsored the bill and spoke vigorously on the Senate floor to give same-sex couples benefits such as medical decision making powers, increased inheritance rights and an easier process to list each other as dependants on health insurance.

Personally I am not threatened by homosexual marriage, nor should you be.
Not threatened by perverts....but I think we shall never look back...and now I support polygamy. It's amazing how folks like you accept this unconstitutional move by the well funded perverts at the Gill Foundation - it's been voted down by Coloradoans.
