Great question, but humans are made out of meat, too. Are you saying we should eat other humans because we're made out of meat?
I am a big meat eater myself. My only disagreement was about Heaven being a great hunting grounds. Heaven for the hunter, but hell for the hunted.
OK, I know he was kidding but think of it this way:
Muslims think they go to heaven and get 16 virgins or however many they believe. That's maybe heaven to some men but what is it for the 16 virgins?
It's all relative.
When you are the HMFWIC every day is a good day. PM if you dunno what a HMFWIC is and be cautioned, the answer is R rated.
In the meanwhile let's continue discussing the topic of this thread - what are the makings of a great day?
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Getting to talk to my son, knowing he is doing ok in Afganistan, knowing that the VFW had a great weekend helping out the community, and yep waking for another day regardless what happens.
As I've moved into the dusk of life, I too think it is a good day to awaken to roam this earth. A great day is one when I learn something new whereas when I get to see nature untouched by man makes for an awesome day.

Why is it that some try so desperately to derail a thread?
A great day on 285bound would be to have people stay focused and not bent on seeking to agitate.
Come on Wane, what is going on? There is no need for the baiting.
