All I am thinking is I am going to Denver when I need a hospital, if the area grows to where it make sense, then lets do it. It seems like the costs would be higher here, and we are very close to a major city.

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
major bean wrote: That does not mean that the federal goverment owned those buildings. The WPA was a "put people to work" organization, not a hospital running organization. They built outhouses. The built bridges for counties. They built various buildings for city, county, and state. READ SOME HISTORY.
Yeah- I said they built
them? I never said owned, even though i'm sure they did own them.
You see Mr Bean-I did'nt learn all my history from an AM radio- I lived it. 3 of my kids were born in county hospitals, I was born in a government owned hospital...They're everywhere!
VL likes it when the gov't runs things at a 10% waste and fraud margin, and hates it when corporations run things with a 5% profit margin. Thats Chicago style math!

Why do you spout like a little mynah bird for private corporations at every turn when you clearly are not one? Are you a BOT or a human? Everything from the air we breath, to the water we drink need not be privitized. I don't want to socialize everything just the essentials. Health care is an essential...
Most everything is essential to someone VL. So you are going to fire all the food workers, construction industry, transportation industry, and turn it over to gov't. I have worked in both gov't and private. I'll take private any day.

Yeah we can't afford to build them here, but we can afford to build them in Iraq! Thats good for them
Notice how these super fiscally responsible posers just ignored this? Well boys, should we build hospitals in America before build them in Iraq, or does Iraq come first?
