I'm getting worried about my friend Cliff and how close he is, but there's no denying these are incredible shots! This shows the patio at Cactus Jack's completely over-run and how it looks coming over the dam. Wow!

Erosion along the edges of the "dam" hopefully has been evaluated......when was the last time divers looked at the base from the lake side ?? Hopefully this was done in the past (recent past).

From Evergreen Metro District :
Evergreen Metro District states that the dam is stable. Rumors of cracks are not confirmed. They ask that people stay out of Downtown for safety purposes. The dam is fine and there is less than a foot of water running over the spillway at this time. http://www.evergreenmetrodistrict.com/

Thanks for posting that SC. I have been at the spillway and water plant for most of the morning. No problems there at all. The dam has a 6 foot deep spillway and only has 1 foot coming over the top. There is no more pressure on the dam as when there was 6 inches yesterday. The dam was engineered to handle a 20+ foot spill over the top. Evergreen will float away before the dam does.
There is no erosion around the edges of the dam. The dam is inspected annually.

This is Rumor Control - OUT.
