Statement from Communities Bound and Science Sense

05 Mar 2014 14:54 #1 by MyMountainTown
Dear Friends, Advertisers and Members,

Please accept our apologies for the confusion regarding the agreements between Communities Bound, LLC and Science Sense LLC, and the websites of 285bound.com and MyMountainTown.com. After some months of dispute, the parties have been able to address their issues in a settlement agreement.

Under the parties’ settlement agreement, MyMountainTown.com will no longer be an affiliate of Communities Bound. MyMountainTown.com will be owned by Science Sense, while the 285Bound.com site will be owned by Communities Bound. The parties have each agreed to a mutual non-competition covenant for nine months, during which the 285Bound.com site will be inactive and the parties agree to mutually refrain from certain commercial activities.

Both Science Sense and Communities Bound look forward to continued participation in their communities, and to being a valuable resource for the residents and businesses in those communities.

If you have any posts that you have added to the 285Bound.com site after July 12, 2013, please be aware that you will need to copy and move them over to MyMountainTown.com within 72 hours, if you so desire, so that such posts are not lost, as MyMountainTown.com cannot automatically import such additional data.

Proudly serving mountain Jeffco, Clear Creek & Park County!
