People do a lot of things for the wrong reasons..If you looked up to cops all your life and decided to become a cop just so people will look up to you, isnt that selfish? or self serving?
This Salvation Army guy would impress me if he was behind the scenes preparing meals for people but my guess is that hes going to be in front of King Soopers ringing a bell so everybody can see what a great guy he is...Lets get real now

Just as nice as yours, dear heart, always trying to make yourself better than others. Sorry, sweetcheeks, but you cannot top a family's affection for each other by having a grand display. If all there was to eat was a couple cups of ramen, would your family still show up? I know mine would, because it's not about the show, or the food or the booze - it's about being together.

You cannot buy lasting love, just momentary attention.

People around here might like you better if you tried being a real person for a change, rather than the guy who comes off as too insecure to be a sincere human being. But then, maybe you can't be anything but that shallow guy. Too bad.

It says a lot about your personality when helping others have a nice holiday when they wouldnt have had one at all is "boring". Perhaps you are the boring one.

Ringing the bell or cooking the meal - it doesn't matter. It's more than you do.

And it has nothing to do with impressing you - you don't matter in that picture.

I drove to El Paso (FT Bliss) to have Thanksgiving with my son, and we have folks from his unit coming over so they will not be alone on Thanksgiving. For all of you including vl, have a great Thanksgiving.

can you save the personal attacks for after thr holidays please? All i was trying to say was that people don't do anything unless theres something in it for them, and if you had any kind of life experience at all, you'd know that. So stop being such a birdbrain

Many people are like that and some people are not... Perhaps after more life experience you may meet some of the latter.

rofllol rofllol Pot / Kettle!!! You are the one who does the most attacking on here and then even after asking people to stop, in the next sentence you attack again by calling her a birdbrain!!! rofllol rofllol You were hit in the head way too many times while boxing! (if you even did that) Personally I think you just hit your head too many times on the headboard in that Tranny video you posted! rofllol rofllol

Nice try, VL. Lots of people do things for others because their parents taught them it is the right thing to do, and the ONLY gain they get is feeling good because they made someone else's day happier.

I'm sorry the truth hits too close to home for you. but it would be an interesting experient, don't you think? Those who truly love you don't care about what you can give them, they care about you.

Not an insult when its the truth, unless, of course, you find the truth insulting.
