We all know that actual successful people rarely tout their material possessions. There are only 2 types of people who need to tell the world, how great their life is, how many big screen TVs they own, how many cars, their travels, the great meals and super model daughters, and especially how much life insurance they carry. The first is the guy trying to sell you his get rich quick scheme, or how to make money in the stock market or the latest work at home scheme, we seen them on TV or hear them on the radio all the time. The second is the guy who has none of that and needs to make himself feel better, by pretending to be superior to everyone else. And since none of us are potential buyers………guess who we have here.
There is probably a ring of truth to story of the girl in Elementary school, but she never married him. She dated the good looking smart guys, and went off to college where she married well, while our friend got fired from a series of ever demeaning jobs. He’s hurting and just like Charlie Brown he can’t get over the little redheaded girl.
