This is very tragic. Praying for the survivors and the dead and hoping when the tsunami hits other areas the destruction is not too bad.

It's apparently already hit Hawaii, and luckily there wasn't much damage... That might be a good sign for the California coastline. Hopefully, much of its energy will be spent by the time it gets there....

6 foot waves in Hawaii, anyone else find it amazing that a quake in Japan can affect the tide thousands of miles away? That is power.

That whirlpool is very weird. I saw it earlier on CNN. It almost looks like a huge hole had opened up and the water was being sucked into it. I wonder what it could be?
