Well...VL, actually, my 8 year old sister was stabbed to death while she slept on the family couch in our home, when I was 11... So, yes, I do see danger where others may not.

Statistically you are definatley more apt to be attacked by an family member in your house than by a random stranger at Safeway or King Soopers..

Friends-I apologize if I've displayed a total lack of empathy in this thread. I've been viewing things through my perspective and not through the eyes of a woman. After thinking about it for a second I don't blame you women for being scared. All my advice in this thread was taylored toward men, specifally alpha males..

You know sometimes while walking into King Soopers I'll walk by a woman returning her cart and I'll tell her "I'll take it". Saves her time n energy, saves the kid who has to collect the carts, I need a cart and i'm going that way anyway. I think i'll stop doing that...Could get shot in the head.
